CITADELI X GöçMakSan Successful Cooperation - Shared Standards and Values
The construction industry is developing rapidly, requiring companies to constantly adapt to new demands. In such an environment, the presence of a reliable and stable partner is especially important both in local and international markets. An example of this is the cooperation between GöçMakSan and Citadeli - the joint activity of two strong brands that ensures high‑quality products and efficient services.
To better understand the partner brand, we spoke with Eren Balamir, Head of Export Sales at GöçMakSan.
What does it mean to be a global leader?
Global leadership is much more than sales volume or cross‑border operations. For us, leadership is defined by setting industry standards and offering a diverse range of rebar cutting and bending machines to many customers worldwide.
What principle(s) underlie the choice of an international partner?
Choosing the right partner requires certain skills that our partner must meet in their own country and in the construction industry. Specifically: brand reputation, sales support, after‑sales service, and technical support. These are our main focus when selecting international partners.
How has the ten‑year cooperation between Citadeli and GöçMakSan become a symbol of trust and stability?
The cooperation between Citadeli and GöçMakSan represents a benchmark of international business synergy. In their own countries, both sides are strong brands, and this is the foundation of trust. We hope and believe that our cooperation will become even stronger!
The construction market is characterized by constant dynamics. How do you respond to innovations? Is there any new product you introduced to the market in 2026?
The landscape of the construction industry requires rapid technological evolution. GöçMakSan actively responds to industry changes through innovative research and development, paying special attention to on‑site safety, noise reduction, and energy efficiency. This year we introduced new machines worldwide, namely: portable models, hydraulic cutters, and large‑scale rebar processing machines.

After your visit to Georgia, what similarities and differences did you notice compared to the Turkish market or other partner countries?
The common features clearly show that both sides respond quickly to market changes, stand out with active sales and after‑sales support, and also have significant stock volumes, which further strengthens the partnership.
Differences are more evident in the European market. There, inventory management is less organized and response speed is relatively lower. Against this background, the effectiveness of GöçMakSan and Citadeli’s cooperation is even more visible, as they combine each other’s strengths.
What are GöçMakSan’s future plans and vision for deepening relations with Citadeli?
GöçMakSan is focused on expanding production capabilities in one of Europe’s largest specialized factories, and we are also working intensively in the field of smart automation. We will definitely continue and work even more closely with Citadeli.
We are pleased by the fact that in Georgia we have a partner who is the largest supplier of construction equipment nationwide.
