Citadeli is the official dealer of the π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ brand in Georgia.

The Greek paint brand π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ has been exclusively represented in Citadeli showrooms in Georgia for five years. The brand is positioned with environmentally friendly, high-quality products distinguished by a diverse color palette. Based on shared values and vision, π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ and Citadeli set an example of reliable partnership in the construction market.

How this cooperation became a foundation of trust, what vision the company holds, and how it responds to the constant dynamics of the market will be shared by π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆβ€™s Export Sales Director, Vasilis Chaliambalias.

How was the brand β€œChromodomi” born and what path led it to today’s successful position?

π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ was founded in 1988 as a small paint factory in the center of Thessaloniki, in a very limited space. From the beginning, the company’s development was based on quality, flexibility, and careful attention to customer needs. These principles determined gradual growth during a period when the Greek market itself was rapidly evolving. Over the years, π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ continuously invested in production facilities, technology, people, and more recently in automated manufacturing processes. Today, we are a family business in the broadest and most important sense: family members hold key positions where responsibility, commitment, and long-term vision are decisive, while collaboration across all departments and people creates the company’s daily strength.

What was the main motivation for entering the Georgian market and how do you assess customer interest?

Georgia has always been a target market for π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ due to its development potential, geographical location, and demand for reliable European construction materials. Over the past decade, our representatives participated in business missions in Georgia, where we observed strong market potential. For this step, π‚π’ππšππžπ₯𝐒 proved to be the right partner. As a leading player in Georgia, π‚π’ππšππžπ₯𝐒 combines market knowledge, reliability, and strong local presence. Our common goal is not only to sell products but to modernize Georgia’s construction sector with certified European materials. Customer interest is steadily growing, especially in exterior products, and we believe we are moving in a very positive direction.

What common or different trends do you notice among regional markets?

Georgia is a very interesting market because it combines elements of different regions. In many aspects, it is close to Balkan markets, but it also shares certain characteristics of Middle Eastern countries, particularly the importance of personal relationships, trust, and long-term cooperation.

Recently, a trend of increasing demand for certified European products has emerged in regional markets. Customers seek durability, technical performance, reliability, and recognized standards. In Georgia, we also see active construction activity and large-scale projects. The market does not look only at price or only at quality; it values overall worth. This is where CHROMODOMI’s advantage lies β€” we offer products that combine performance, certification, and competitive positioning.

What is the joint vision of Citadeli and Chromodomi, the foundation of the partnership?

The shared vision of Citadeli and π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ is to deliver high-quality European products and solutions to the market. The partnership is based on trust, shared values, and technical expertise. For us, Citadeli is not just a distributor but a strategic partner. Above all, we value people β€” their energy, willingness to work, professionalism, and readiness for development.

Which large-scale project would you highlight that was realized through collaboration with Citadeli?

Today, through cooperation with π‚π’ππšππžπ₯𝐒, π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒOπƒπŽπŒπˆ products are used in numerous projects. During my visit to Georgia, I personally inspected completed and ongoing sites in Batumi and Tbilisi, including residential complexes. Although our Georgian partners recall project names and technical details more precisely, we can say that π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆβ€™s interior and exterior paints have been successfully applied in complex projects. For us, the main focus is not only the scale of the project but the satisfaction of customers, contractors, and partners upon completion.

As we know, the products are certified and comply with all EU standards. What is your view on the importance of environmentally safe products?

At π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ, certificates and compliance with EU standards are not considered mere formalities. Our company has been working with ISO certifications for more than 25 years, making this practice part of our culture. Today, the issue goes beyond certificates. Sustainability has become the central part of our philosophy. Modern construction materials must combine performance, safety, durability, and minimal environmental impact. This means low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions, safer indoor air quality, responsible production, and waste reduction wherever possible.

For us, sustainability is not a slogan, it is a continuous process of improvement.

In your opinion, with which product is the brand π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ most often associated?

Focusing on the Georgian market, π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ is closely associated with exterior products containing silicone additives. Such products are popular because silicone improves the protection of building facades and ensures durability against adverse weather conditions. In most regions of Georgia, this climate environment prevails, which further increases the relevance and demand for these products.

Recently, decorative plaster/wall finishes have become trendy. What steps are you taking in this regard, what innovations do you offer customers?

For us, innovation is not just a term but daily practice. It is constant work and the desire to make each product better every day. π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ has developed several products in the decorative materials segment, one of the most successful being π’πŽπ•π€π‚π‘π˜π‹ π†π‘π€ππˆπ“. Due to its easy application and stone-like appearance, it enjoys great popularity in the Greek market, especially in hotel projects.

Our decorative products offer customers a unique final result at a reasonable price, without extra working hours, complex equipment, or specialized tools.

Our goal is to continuously develop this segment, combining aesthetics, durability, ease of use, and value.

Tell us about Chromodomi’s long-term plans.

One of π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆβ€™s strongest characteristics is its focus on creating new products. We constantly work on improving existing solutions and developing new ones. In the near future, we will be fully ready to supply our partners with innovative quartz flooring systems, with more information soon available in Georgia.

In terms of new markets, π‚π‡π‘πŽπŒπŽπƒπŽπŒπˆ pays special attention to the Middle East and Gulf countries, while also monitoring Central Europe. Our goal is not only geographical expansion but the creation of strong, healthy, and long-term partnerships.

In 2026, we completed an investment cycle amounting to approximately €1 million. This investment covered automation of production and packaging processes, as well as additional investments in facilities and technology. For us, progress is not a final destination, it is a daily discipline.
